Stewardship

The gardens along the ramps and bridge at India Point Park have been shaped over time through the dedication of Friends of India Point Park volunteers and the expertise of Tysh McCrail of Woodscapes, who has long consulted on and maintained the plantings. PSGC is now joining that effort, taking on an active stewardship role in collaboration with the Friends and their volunteers. Working from the foundation that has already been built, PSGC will help tend and expand these bayside native and pollinator plantings, bringing continuity, ecological depth, and community engagement to one of Providence's most visible and resilient public landscapes.
