The Avenue Concept manages a network of public art installations and sculpture gardens throughout downtown Providence. PSGC and TAC have formalized a partnership to move these spaces beyond static green surrounds, reimagining them as ecologically rich, culturally active gardens that deepen community relationships with public space. PSGC is developing regenerative planting plans that integrate native species suited to the urban context, alongside rotating interpretive signage, community workshops, and a living plant material library grown on site to support artists working with living materials. The collaboration grows out of a shared conviction that downtown public space is most alive when it is tended, layered, and in conversation with the people who move through it daily.
